Mott 32

This well-known, famous Asian restaurant in Hong Kong is renowned for its apple wood roasted duck. We came to try it, and it was delicious. However, I was curious about what they were doing with the rest of the duck. When we had tried Mott 32 in Singapore, they used duck and served three dishes. Here, we only had two dishes with the roasted duck: duck skin and duck meat with pancakes. The service was great, and the staff was attentive. However, I would like to mention that the background music was very loud and didn’t match the dining layout and ambience. Perhaps they could try playing something more authentic or classic music.

Great taste with very welcome service. The signature BBQ Iberico pork is very tender and highly recommended. Staffs are very attentive with good advice for meal selection.

Mott 32 offers an elegant dining experience with well-executed dishes and attentive service. We went all out with our order, and while some items were outstanding, a few were just okay. The Peking Duck was a showstopper—immense in size, beautifully roasted, and bursting with juicy, fatty tenderness. Definitely worth the hype! On the other hand, the Barbecue Pluma Iberico Pork was underwhelming—too fatty and lacking a distinct wow factor. The 辣子田鸡 had great texture but could have delivered more heat. Fish Maw Jelly was fresh and enjoyable, and the Cucumber Pomelo was a refreshing palate cleanser against the richness of our meal. To balance the heaviness, I opted for the Hinami Cocktail, which had a lovely citrusy profile that kept me going. The Sour Plum Panna Cotta with Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream was the perfect end to the night—the tartness cutting through all the indulgence like a dream. The only disappointment was the Ginseng Oolong, which lacked a noticeable ginseng note. Service was professional and efficient, and while the food was generally well-prepared, we admittedly ordered way too much for just two people. A solid experience, but next time, we’ll pace ourselves better!

Mott 32 was a fantastic dining experience. The Apple Wood Smoked Pluma Iberico Pork and the Crispy Chicken were absolute standouts—expertly prepared and full of flavor. The Pineapple White Chocolate Pavlova with Goji Berry was a nice finish to the meal, light and refreshing. The staff were incredibly attentif and made us feel well taken care of throughout. A refined and memorable evening in Hong Kong!

Delicious food and excellent service by the staff. Our water and tea was always full. Ambiance was great. Worth the money we spent. One of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve had the pleasure of dining in.

This was my first time here, and it won’t be the last. The location of this restaurant is inside a bank building, which was very unique. Upon entrance of the building, I was greeted by a very nice young lady who checked my reservation and asked me to proceed downstairs to the restaurant. I booked the Peking duck and rosewood bbq bork in advance. The BBQ pork was in a wooden box with rosewood underneath to smoke the meat. The meat was melted in your mouth and very tasty. The Peking duck was not only tasty but also unique in presentation. The server brought us the deck before it went to the chef to be prepared for us. First, it came the duck skin, which was seasoned with yellow sugar and melted in your mouth. Then, the meat came with freshly baked flour skin. This dish was the highlight of the meal. The service provided by the servers was polite and attentive.
